Ruckus has a new home!
In 2022, Brisbane’s infamous open mic competition will be settling in at none other than the equally infamous Lefty’s Music Hall on Caxton Street! Dust off your ten-gallon hats and RMs, because the gritty vibes of Brissy’s own saloon-style music hall are colliding with its loudest, most ruckus event.
We kick off January with a different format: our annual SLAM CHOWDER Chapbook Slam! This month is a curated line-up of spoken word artists who each have 8 MINUTES on stage to spruik their original work. It’s still open mic though!
